John, a Miami University and Ohio State Law School graduate, has long been seen by members of our community as a prominent litigator in family, real estate, and bankruptcy law. Having practiced since 1979, he's built lasting, multi-generational relationships with families across five counties in Ohio.
John had been interested in law when he met his future wife in high school, but it was his father-in-law — a practicing lawyer since the 1940s — who inspired John to make a difference. Putting the law into action fit perfectly with John’s desire to help the community, so the decision to devote his life to the profession was easy. When he started out practicing with his father-in-law's large firm in Cleveland, it was clear that family law was John's primary area of interest.
In fact, John finds it best to talk with clients personally — as though they were family. He likes to sit with people until he understands what the issues are and how best to solve them. From decades of experience, John knows that those we help are sometimes scared, and the most effective way forward is to communicate exactly what the litigation process will entail through to the end. John's straightforward conversation gives our clients the peace of mind they need to devote energy to other areas in their lives.
I’m only satisfied when my clients come out happy.
